Those of you who have been following this website will have noticed earlier on that we were hoping to be able to put something on in 2020 as lockdown eased. Regrettably though, this didn't happen and we had to cancel as social distancing made it too difficult.
Our chairman Verna Campbell reported in York Press "it is sad because this has been an annual event for many years now. A copy of the 1903 schedule describes how a programme even more ambitious than at present had classes for poultry, pigeons, rabbits and horses. They even had a 'horse leaping competition for a lady's hack ridden by a lady' ".
Next year we intend to be back better than ever and we will announce our plans as they evolve. As usual, you can email queries to firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you on Monday 30th August 2021.
